We have an additional upstairs lounge at The Glad, a relaxed and mellow room, great for eating, playing chess, scrabble, or just generally taking it easy, and somewhere to chat for those not here for live music on our gig nights.

On Tap Beer: Red Stripe, San Miguel, Coors and Leffe

On tap cloudy cider – Addlestones

Real ale – A selection of three Real Ales on rotation. Expect the likes of Tribute, Doom Bar, Adnam’s and more…

A large selection of single malts- Laphraoig, Talisker, Dalwhinnie, Oban, McCallan, Glenmorangie and more.

We also have a fine selection of red, white and a rose wine selected from Waterloo Wines.

Unfortunately we cannot facilitate private bookings or table reservations.

Free wi-fi access through the Cloud network.

Live music can be heard every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday evening downstairs at The Gladstone, along with a regular monthly Monday trad night (the last Monday of each month) and weekly Friday night guest dj’s playing the best in rhythm and blues, soul, ska and rock’n'roll from 8pm.

There is never a door charge at the Glad and as regulars will point out it is decidedly tiny and seats are taken on a first come first served basis. We never mic amps or drums, it’s intimate and intense, and the room sounds fantastic.

If you’re interested in performing come down to a Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday night ..if you like it, contact gladbands@yahoo.co.uk with a music link included – please do not send or leave cd’s in to the pub.
